We have a purpose built 8.5m hydrotherapy pool, heated to 34ºC with suitable facilities for wheelchair users. Its resistance jets can be used for a variety of challenging exercises, as well as jet massage.
Our three large, spacious and well-equipped rehabilitation gyms, including a special condition gym, are at the disposal of all our patients, from people with severe brain injury to spinal cord injury.
At The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital, we have twenty treatment and therapy rooms, including women-only therapy rooms and individual consulting and therapy rooms. This is where group therapy is held and where our psychotherapy consultations happen.
At the Hospital, you’ll have access to cosy communal areas, such as living rooms and our gardens, where you can enjoy leisure time with your loved ones. You can also interact with other patients from the hospital, or enjoy quiet time, read a book or listen to your own music. At The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital, we want you to be as comfortable as possible.
