SPINAL INJURY REHABILITATION

The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital (RBH) is an independent centre offering well planned, goal orientated multidisciplinary rehabilitation programmes for people with spinal cord injuries.  It provides services specifically designed to meet the needs of patients. A Specialist Spinal Injury Care Pathway has been designed to facilitate rehabilitation and meet the standards identified by the National Service Framework for Long Term Conditions.

The pathway is described in the RBH Standards for Spinal Injury which aims to meet or exceed the standards for rehabilitation and care set by: The British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine (BSRM) and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as recommended by the Multi-disciplinary Association of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals (MASCIP), and The British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine; respecively.
