Occupational Therapy

We work with adults of all abilities by focusing on every aspect of their daily life. Our aim is to enable everyone to be as independent as possible in their daily activities within the environments that they live, work and play.

By assessing carefully each person’s needs, a programme of therapy is planned and implemented working very closely with team members from other disciplines within the Centre to ensure that their work is as effective as possible.

Our Process

We assess each patients needs to evaluate a dedicated programme of therapy that offers a range of treatments from improving the quality of movement to maximising independence and recovery, to just maintaining movements, joint range and posture, according to the type of condition.

Treatment is a mixture of individual and group time, according to need. After an initial assessment, intensive therapy is provided, depending on day to day progress.
